Industry Specific ComplianceThe Andhra Pradesh Real Estate Regulatory Authority (APRERA) on December 29, 2025, issued a circular regarding a concession on the Late Registration Fee.

The following has been stated: -

•Registration of all real estate projects with AP RERA is mandatory under Section 3 of the RERA Act, 2016, and promoters must apply within 45 days of project approval.

•Despite earlier penalties and circulars, several projects remain unregistered; hence, AP RERA has decided to ensure time-bound compliance.

•A one-time 50% concession on late registration fees is granted for unregistered projects from January 01, 2026, to March 31, 2026.

•Projects remaining unregistered after April 01, 2026, will face stringent action, including penalties up to 10% of project cost and public disclosure on the AP RERA website.
